Travolta Family Arrives in Florida With Jett's Remains
John Travolta and Kelly Preston have left the Bahamas and returned to the U.S. along with the cremated remains of their 16-year-old son, Jett.
The couple, along with 8-year-old daughter Ella Bleu, left the islands Monday night after the autopsy was complete and returned with their son's ashes to their home in Ocala, Fla.
Although the family had been considering funeral services Wednesday, no formal services have been announced. But the town is already preparing to help the Travoltas with whatever special arrangements they may need.
"We're assuming they'll have a lot of friends and family coming in, we're not quite sure who, that will need help moving around town," Ocala Mayor Randy Ewers told E! News. "We have the police department available, and the sheriff's department is working with them."
Alyssa Milano Uses Charms, Gets Engaged
Alyssa Milano isn't the Boss. She's the bride!
The Charmed actress and CAA talent agent David Bugliari became engaged Dec. 18 after dating for more than a year, her rep tells E! News.
Milano, who recently was featured in a nine-episode arc on My Name Is Earl, was once engaged to Party of Five star Scott Wolf and had an 11-month marriage to singer-songwriter Cinjun Tate in 1999.
No word yet on a wedding date...or an appearance by Tony Danza.
Josh Brolin, Jeffrey Wright Cleared in Bar Brawl
Looks like there'll be no need for a presidential pardon for this W. crew.
Prosecutors in Shreveport, La., have reached a deal with attorneys for Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, agreeing to drop all charges stemming from their highly publicized July bar brawl.
Cindy Kemp, spokeswoman for the Shreveport City Court, tells E! News that as long as the actors and five others accept "district attorney's probation" and stay out of further trouble, all misdemeanor counts against the group will be dismissed at their next court date, scheduled for March 11.
The W. gang was out celebrating the wrap of the Oliver Stone biopic at the Stray Cats bar when cops were called to break up a disturbance in the early hours of July 12, 2008. Brolin, the celluloid commander in chief, tried to talk cops out of arresting a drunk crew member, but he and Wright, who plays Colin Powell in the movie, wound up getting pepper sprayed and arrested for interfering with an officer.
Why Do So Many Celebs Give Birth to Twins?
Another day, another set of Hollywood twins are born. Is it just IVF, or is Hollywood an incredibly fertile place?
—Molly, Belmont, N.C.
The answer isn't simple. Yes, the celebrities sure are spawning; now it's Ugly Betty's Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O'Connell, who join Julia Roberts, Jennifer Lopez, Marcia Cross, Geena Davis and scads of others in producing a twofer.
It's only fair that gossip over fertility treatments would follow; all of those women were over 35—old biddies in this business—when they had the twins, including Romijn. (Twin-machine Angelina Jolie isn't quite up there yet, agewise.)
So, have they or haven't they gotten help in getting pregnant? Well...

Brad Pitt to Present at People's Choice?
Brad Pitt could be a surprise guest at tomorrow night's People’s Choice Awards.
It's not a very prestigious awards show, but I hear the Curious Case of Benjamin Button star is mulling over a possible appearance during CBS' live telecast.
If it does happen, however, don’t look for him onstage at L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium...

Patrick Swayze: "I'm Going Through Hell"
Patrick Swayze has always been a fighter on the big screen. Now he's proving his warrior worth in real life.
Speaking out in detail about his battle with pancreatic cancer, the 56-year-old actor tells Barbara Walters of his daily struggles, including his insistence not to take pain medication while filming his new A&E crime drama, The Beast, premiering next week.
"I've never been one to run from a challenge," Swayze said during the interview, which airs Wednesday and was excerpted today on ABCNews.com. "You can bet that I'm going through hell. And I've only seen the beginning of it."
While again refuting tabloid rumors that he's on his deathbed, the Ghost star admitted the cancer has generated "a lot of fear," particularly after learning it had spread to his liver.
"There's a lot of stuff going on," he added. "Yeah, I'm scared. Yeah, I'm angry. Yeah, I'm [asking], why me? Yeah, I'm all this stuff."
Globes Predictions: Big Night—or Bust—for Button?
It's happening already—the Golden Globes kick off the awards-season marathon on Sunday. And this year it's truer than ever: The Globes are always a tough nut to crack.
Conventional wisdom suggests that the winners here can foretell the Academy Awards, right? Well, two years ago Dreamgirls and Babel won big at the Globes—but when the Oscars were handed out, The Departed grabbed Best Picture. Dreamgirls wasn't even nominated.
So what does this mean for the buzzed-about Benjamin Button? And nominee Brad Pitt, for that matter? Check my predictions to get the forecast, see what Kristin and the other E! Online columnists have to say, and check off your own predix, too. All in the new E! Online Red Carpet.
Amy Winehouse Says Fine to Norwegian Fine
Amy Winehouse may not have given in to wearing her bathing suit all the time, but she has agreed to pay the fine for her 2007 illegal marijuana possession charge in Norway.
The "Rehab" singer was touring when police caught her, hubby Blake Fielder-Civil and a crew member with a quarter ounce of pot in their hotel room. Each paid a $415 fine to make the charge disappear, but the troubled star later appealed, claiming police coerced her into signing a confession.
The initial March 2008 trial date was postponed and the 25-year-old chanteuse was summoned to appear next Monday. Now that she has withdrawn her appeal and accepted the fine, she will not need to make the trip to Norway.
Unfortunately, agreeing to pay the fine serves as a de facto guilty plea and may make it difficult for Winehouse to perform in the United States. When she paid the fine at the time of the incident, her visa application was delayed and she was unable to appear at the 2008 Grammys, where she received five awards.
Craig Ferguson Quietly Weds
Craig Ferguson is Scot-free no more.
After teasing the audience with a closeup of some new ring-finger bling, the Late Late Show host announced Monday night that he waved goodbye to his bachelor ways and quietly tied the knot with longtime art-dealer girlfriend Megan Wallace Cunningham during the holiday break.
"The wedding took place in Vermont, where they have legalized gay civil unions—and I married a woman," Ferguson said.
"But I am European, so I was both the groom and the maid of honor."
